Liftpass has been retained by the ANZ operations of a highly respected international industrial automation solutions provider to undertake a search for the key role of ANZ Service Director. This supportive, Europe-based organisation is already well established and on a strong growth journey. Accordingly, the role will provide the successful candidate with a clearly articulated, fast-track career development opportunity.
Reporting to the MD, you will be responsible for an existing service team of 50 staff and all service-related activities in multiple sites in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane including:
- Profit and Loss of the Service Department
- Contracting and executing service contracts
- Commercial management of new and existing clients
- Staff Management
About you:
In addition to being degree qualified (engineering or commerce-related), you have/are:
- 10+ years industry experience, including staff management, in a vendor or contractor environment.
- A strong track record in commercial and operational management of a similar sized maintenance/service function in mechanical systems.
- Experience in managing contracts for service and upgrades.
- Previous full P&L responsibility.
- Impressive customer-facing stakeholder engagement skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Supportive management style.
- Seeking a role with strong, early and clear career-development potential.
This leadership position would be well suited to an ambitious candidate with tier 1 or 2 experience in MHS / airport / BHS systems, factory automation, vertical transportation or similar.
