
Customer’s Challenge
A direct applicant from the customer’s external advertising campaign had changed their mind 2 weeks before the intended start date. The role was business critical with external factors driving the need to have the role filled urgently.
Action Taken
26/2/26 – Role given to LIFTPASS who then met with the line manager was to understand the role scope, priorities and geographical footprint.
A full market mapping exercise was undertaken, supported by promotion of the role on Linkedin. 208 candidate profiles were considered and the role was presented directly to 42.
All interested candidates were spoken to, their motivations established, the employer and opportunity discussed. Each was provided with a copy of the PD.
3/3/26 – Six suitable pre-qualified candidates were presented to the customer by LIFTPASS. Each included a summary of their reason for interest and salary expectations. 3 were selected for interview.
9/3/26 – 1st stage interviews completed.
12/3/26 – 2nd stage interviews completed.
12/3/26 – Verbal offer made and accepted, subject to references. Written offer sent.
13/3/26 – References taken.
15/3/26 – Written offer returned.
Outcome
New employee will start in the position on 23/3/26, exactly 4 weeks after the assignment was given to LIFTPASS.
